Paknia Engineering and Architecture, PC, is dedicated to providing our clients with all of their Engineering, Architectural and Expediting needs. Our ‘one-stop-shop’ service concept streamlines the approval process and ensures quality control throughout the design process. Our services include MEP Engineering and Consulting, Architectural Design and Consulting, Expediting Services, Special Inspection Services and Fire Protection Design. Our projects range from residential to commercial to industrial uses in new construction, renovations, conversions and legalization work across the greater downstate New York region, including Long Island and Westchester, as well as Connecticut and New Jersey.

About Edouard
Edouard has been working as a Professional Engineer since 2005. He is licensed in both New York and Connecticut. Edouard has extensive experience in the field of Mechanical Engineering including fire protection, HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Alarm design. His projects span multi-family residential, commercial as well as industrial buildings and complexes. He has worked on both new developments as well as Loft Law legalization work for over two decades.
Jessica Kashizadeh, RA

About Jessica
Jessica is a registered architect with experience in single and multi-family residential developments as well as commercial projects. She has been specializing in NYC Loft Law buildings (Interim Multiple Dwellings) for over a decade. Her expertise in this niche field, along with her professional connections at the NYC Loft Board and Department of Buildings and her intricate knowledge of the various Codes, restrictions and regulations involved in legalization work, make her an invaluable member of the PE&A management team and yield highly successful results for our clients.

About Person
Muaaz has been working with Paknia E&A since 2012. He is responsible for the design and project management of building mechanical (HVAC), fire protection (sprinklers and fire alarms) and plumbing systems. His years of experience combined with his extensive knowledge of New York City building Codes, NFPA regulations, Energy Conservation Code and DEP regulations, ensure that only the best designs are produced for our clients.

Looking for an energetic candidate with experience in documenting as-built conditions and proficient in CAD. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3+ years’ experience, and be able to work and coordinate with professionals and development/ construction team at the job site. Candidate will work closely with architect and engineer of record.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaboration: Work closely with designers/architects/engineers, contractors and subcontractors to coordinate architectural/ engineering elements into overall project plans.
Problem Solving: Identify and address engineering challenges, providing effective and practical solutions.
Communication: Effectively communicate with team members and external stakeholders to convey design concepts, specifications, and project progress.
Quality Assurance: Implement quality control processes to guarantee the accuracy and precision of architectural deliverables.
CAD Proficiency: Utilize Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software.
